Violinist and former banker Laurent Levy performs concert in aid of London Music Masters

Laurent Levy was originally trained as a professional violinist in Switzerland and the USA, studying with Josef Gingold. After his transition into banking where he occupied senior positions with Goldman Sachs and Barclays, he returned to his passion for the violin a few years ago and has not looked back!  In a spirit of great generosity Laurent has, in recent years, hosted two fundraising concerts for London Music Masters enabling him to combine his love of music and his desire to support charitable causes. He writes:

“When preparing for my recital back in June 2015 I had been looking for a charity that develops the awareness and love of classical music in children of all background. I discovered LMM and their most amazing achievements. The recital in October 2018 was my second one on behalf of LMM and it was a privilege to have been able to raise so many donations from so many people.”

The ambitious programme, stylishly perfomed by Laurent and pianist Yi-Shing Cheng, included works by Beethoven, Debussy and Smetana.

London Music Masters is grateful to Laurent and his family for their support.
