When I turned 9 I told my mum I wanted to play the viola and since then, music became my way of life.
I started my studies at the Professional Conservatoire of Music “Hermanos Berzosa”, in Spain, finishing my Music Degree at the “Conservatorio Superior de Musica, Pablo Sarasate”. In the meanwhile, I discovered my fate: Teaching.
I rolled up my sleeves and I got more and more interested in it, so I specialised in Pedagogy applied to the Learning of the String Instruments, at the same time I was finishing my studies of History of Art at the University of Zaragoza.
In addition to these studies, I’ve got an extensive background as a viola/violin teacher and player, both in orchestras and chamber music groups, recieving lessons from teachers as Yuri Yurov or Gonçal Comellas, among others.
Today, with 10+ experience, in Spain and the UK, I do what I really love the most: teaching.
I know how important is music in children’s education so, my dream is to bring the kids a chance to enjoy music by playing the violin, that’s why I teach in different primary and secondary schools in London, collaborating with organisations as Lambeth Music Service, Tri-Borough Music Hub and, more recently, with LMM.
