Born in Madrid, Guillermina started to play the violin aged four. By the time she started her degree at the Royal College of Music in London, she had already performed solo, chamber music and in orchestras in Spain and the United States, where she had also won solo and chamber music competitions.
After moving to London ten years ago, Guillermina completed her Bachelor of Music Degree and Master of Music at the Royal College of Music. In all these years she has developed a diverse portfolio of performing, teaching and education and outreach projects. She currently a member of the Metapraxis Contemporary Ensemble, the Orion Symphony Orchestra, the Women of the World Orchestra and is Principal Second Violin of the London Arts Orchestra. A member of the Bute Piano Trio, she is also a devoted teacher and works for the London charity, London Music Masters. She has performed in the UK, Spain, Germany, US, Italy, China and has toured Israel and Palestine for charity.
