Jessica Maryon-Davies BA (Hons.), LRAM, PGdip is a professional pianist and teacher who studied piano accompaniment at the Royal Academy of Music. Her performing career, working alongside both singers and instrumentalists, has led to many unusual projects and collaborations. She recently teamed up with critically acclaimed dubstep record label, Rankin Records, as soloist as part of their cathedral tour in York Minster. In her role as accompanist she has worked with Katherine Jenkins, Michael Nyman and, as Co-Director of Music in Offices, Gareth Malone. She is also founder and co-director of Clapham Chamber Concerts, a regular series which provides a platform for young professional musicians.
In 2008, Jessica received specialist training in the Carl Orff method, which develops musical skills and understanding through singing, improvising, performing and listening. She currently works across London as a music teacher, specialising in Early Years and Key Stage One. She is passionate about making music accessible to everyone: in 2008 she coached the SE1 Community Choir and she is currently developing the first ever Office Choir of the Year Competition.
